Key Duties Responsibilities Full life cycle application development Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages. Software analysis, code analysis, qualifications analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis Object-oriented Design and Analysis OOD and OOA Front end graphical user interface design Software testing and quality assurance Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation. Support, maintain and document software functionality Integrate software with existing systems Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation Project Planning and Project Management Maintain standards compliance Implement localization or globalization of software Other duties as needed or assigned. Competencies Needs to understand Object Oriented principles and how to properly implement them. Microsoft .NET WCF WPF SQL experience a plus. Significant experience with Configuration Management Source Code Control preferably Subversion. Basic understanding of Thermodynamics, PID loops and other control mechanisms. Expertise to evaluate controls and software tasks problems with a wider view across disciplines. Comfortable operating equipment and performing basic E.E. tasks such as adjusting sensors. Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, to successfully complete a wide variety of complex position assignments and responsibilities in a timely manner. Excellent issue solving abilities and expertise to resolve complex problems in a timely manner. Great communication, presentation and persuasiveness skills to effectively communicate complex details to all levels of management and outside parties, influencing business direction on major product decisions. Qualifications B.S.M.E. B.S.E.E. B.S.Ph B.S.Chem B.S.C.S. preferred. May have advanced degree. Expert level knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages. Looking for experience with PLC LADFBDetc. or Assembly Embedded Platforms and CC. three years of software engineering experience.
